About Living Free
Living Free is a ministry of ongoing groups using God's Word to help participants gain victory over specific challenges from growing in Christ to overcoming addictions, uncontrolled anger, or any behavior that would keep us from serving God. Our goal is for everyone to experience victory in life and relationships.
The Need for Living Free
God's will is that each of us live in freedom – full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, and self-control. Unfortunately, at some point in our lives we all suffer from struggles like depression, lack of self-esteem, pride, anger, addictive behaviors, or unhealthy relationships. Some of us are not struggling with specific challenges, but we are not experiencing spiritual growth. Often, we desire to have better relationships with each other and with God but we are not sure where to start.
Our churches and communities are filled with hurting and
unsatisfied people looking for answers. Some want help.
Others do not. For those who want help, where do they go?
We need God's help—but we also need others who care.
Living Free is a place for participants to find answers,
hope, and a place to discuss your struggles honestly and
confidentially.
Living Free brings together the Word of
God, the Spirit of God, and the people of God to help
participants live in the freedom that Christ provides.
What happens at each group meeting?
Each week the discussion includes:
- Prayer
- What the Bible says about the topic
- Questions you may have
- Understanding how the weekly topic relates to society
- Practical ways to apply the scriptures to everyday life
When do Living Free groups meet?
- Sundays, 9:20 – 10:35 AM
- Mondays, 7:00 – 8:15 PM
- Thursdays, 7:00 – 8:15 PM
Several new Living Free groups are scheduled each quarter (every 3-4 months) throughout the year. Each group meets between 9 to 13 weeks.
Does it cost anything to register?
There is no registration cost for Living Free groups.
Do you provide childcare?
Childcare is available for evening classes with 24-hour notice at 407-275-8790, ext. 105. On Sunday mornings, there are a wide variety of children's School of the Bible (Sunday School) classes and Kidz church services offered at Faith Assembly while you are attending Living Free. Nursery is also available for children under three years of age.
