Mission and Policies

Mission

To prepare and send forth well-trained, spirit-filled men and women of God who are thoroughly equipped for every good work, both in season and out of season, so that the Body of Christ may be built up in order to advance the Kingdom of God.

(Ephesians 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:17, 2 Timothy 4:2)

Policies

General Admission Requirements

Applicants must complete an application to enroll in Faith College and must have a high school diploma or the equivalent. Faith College reserves the right to reject any application for any reason it may consider valid.

Spiritual Requirements

Applicants must have a definite Christian experience for admission to Faith College. In addition, all applicants are encouraged to be practicing their Christian faith for a period of one year prior to admission.

Tuition Fees

Students enrolled in Faith College are responsible for their tuition fees and books. The tuition fee for each class is $25. The cost for books and materials are separate for each course. Tuition is due prior to admittance into a class. Faith College classes are not transferable to other institutions.

Attendance

It is important for all students to attend each class to benefit from the materials being taught. Two excused absences are allowed for each full quarter course; (8) eight week courses will only be allowed one excused absence.

Grades

It is our goal to strive for excellence in preparing students for the work of the Lord. Students are to complete all assignments in each course before they can receive credit for that course. Failure to meet this requirement will result in receiving an incomplete for the class.

Credit/Audit

Students who wish to attend Faith College courses but do not wish to receive credit can audit the course. The tuition cost will be the same. A Faith College application will still need to be completed by new students.

Orientation

Faith Institute will provide a 3-hour Orientation prior to each quarter for all new students. Orientation will consist of The Call of God and Discover Your Gifts teachings. These studies will help each student evaluate their calling and gifts. Register at the Event Center in the lobby of the church. There is no cost for Orientation.

Writing Prep Class

The Writing Prep Class is an (8) eight-week course offered on Saturday mornings and it is the first class a student is required to take in Faith Institute. If a student receives a 75 or above on the Grammar Skills Evaluation, he/she will be exempt from the class. The Grammar Skills Evaluation is administered during Orientation. There is no fee for this class and a book is not required.

Graduation

Upon completion of required courses, students can apply for graduation. Graduates will wear cap and gown and will be presented in a graduation ceremony to receive a diploma.
